Lincoln's entry-level MKZ has dynamic American luxury styling with features only found on cars costing thousands more.

The MKZ is powered by a 263-hp 3.5-liter V6 with a six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift, and is offered in both front and all-wheel drive. Standard features include leather heated/cooled power driver and passenger seats, 17" alloy wheels, SYNC entertainment/communication system, satellite radio and dual-zone electronic climate control. Standard safety features include side-impact air bags in front; curtain-style head protection airbags for all outboard positions; traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, LED brakelights and rear parking sensors.

For 2011, integrated spotter mirrors and MyKey have been added to standard equipment.<

The 2011 Lincoln MKZ is a perfectly competent midsize premium sedan, but it does not represent enough of an improvement over the similar Ford Fusion in order to warrant its Mercedes-like price.

Excellent infotainment features; comfortable seats and driving position; responsive steering.

Non-premium feel; not enough differentiation from Ford Fusion; rough ride with sport suspension.

The optional navigation system gains HD radio for 2011.
